Hi! My name is Carol. Thank you for stopping by my blog and sharing in my classroom adventures with me! First and foremost, I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and all that He has done for me! I am unworthy of the grace and love He pours over me, but am so grateful to be a daughter to the One who loves me in spite of all my shortcomings. Secondly, I am a wife, teacher, self-proclaimed foodie, and craft enthusiast!
My husband, Rob, and I got married in October 2011 at Historic Londontown on the South River. I am so blessed by him in so many ways - he is such a loving and caring husband and serves the Lord in so many ways. I am so excited to do life and grow old with this man!
We recently just purchased our first home! We will be moving in August and I am looking forward to decorating, organizing and making it our own.
I am going into my fourth year as a special education teacher. I graduated with my Master's in Special Education from the University of Maryland (GO TERPS!), with my certification in generic special education, severe and profound disabilities, elementary education and early childhood education. I have been working with students who have severe to profound disabilities in a self-contained classroom with inclusion opportunities; I have worked with grades K-5. This next coming year, I will enter the world of autism, as a new Kindergarten autism program is opening in my school and I will have 5 little guys with autism in my care!
I am so excited to share my life and classroom adventures with you! Thanks for visiting my blog!
